AboutCarmen Curtis Expertise Hi. 90210 is my absolute favorite show. I watch it at least twice a day, have my favorite episodes on tape, and can answer any question anyone has about the plot lines. Valerie, Brenda, and David are my favorite characters. I have met few people who love the show as much as I do. 90210 has been my salvation after a hard day, a way to kill boredom, and just pure pleasure. Question I think my DVR must have skipped some episodes. Who is Katie? On the episode I am watching, (Steve is preparing for Y2K, Matt and Gina find out about Kelly and Dylan in Mexico)Katie returns from sex addict rehab. I don't remember her. Also, when/why did Gina start working for Matt in his law office.

Katie is a character who came on 1, maybe 2 episodes. Steve is writing an article for the Beverly Beat and goes "undercover" at the sex addicts anonymous meeting. He goes to the Peach Pit with Katie after the meeting to talk, and David is there. David thinks Katie is cute and asks her out. He tells her that he already knows about her "addiction" and that he's fine with it. They go out on one date, then she goes out of town. When she gets back in town, they have sex. She bolts immediately afterwards. She later comes back to David's house and apologizes for running out on him and tells him she realized she's not ready for a sexual relationship and will be celibate for at least a year. David considers it and tells Katie as nicely as he can that sex is too important to him not to have in a relationship, so that's the end of her!
As for Gina working in Matt's office, Gina receives an offer to be a sports announcer (since she's an ice skater) and asks Matt to look over her contract and give her some guidance. He foolishly plays hardball with the people and basically tells them they can take their offer and shove it. He thinks that will force them to give her more money. The job people get back to them and say that their original choice, some bigger-time skater, has agreed to the position. Matt feels terrible and offers Gina a job in his office, answering phones and stuff. He eventually fires her after she blackmails Mel Silver and is rude to Jackie (Kelly's mom).
