Beverly Hills 90210/Donna's Dog

Question
What ever happened to Rocky 2 at the end of Season 4?  After Rocky 1 died and
the whole Brenda/prison/ Andrea's lab plot line, the lab gave Donna Rocky 2.
There was at least one show with the housebreaking problems of the pup, but I
don't remember seeing him again, or an explanation of his location.  Why did
they spend all that time introducing a dog plot line and then abandoning it?

Answer
Hello Tiff

Thank you so much for the question. You are right, Rocky 2 was barely seen after season 4. To my knowledge, the only episode he appears in after season 4 is in season 5, episode 9 'Intervention'.

In this episode, it is revealed that Rocky 2 lives at Donna's parent's house. Donna and Ray take the dog for a walk after Ray meets her parents and Felice, Donna's mom, doesn't approve of Donna dating him. They take Rocky 2 for a walk to get out of the house.

I believe there is reference to the dog again in season 7, episode 32 'Graduation Day' when Donna and David sleep together. She tells him that she has a 'surprise' and he says something along the lines of 'please tell me it's not another pet', because they had so much trouble housebreaking Rocky 2.

Hope this answers your question!

Expertise

Hey! I am one of the biggest Beverly Hills 90210 fans ever. I watch the show every day and consider myself an expert. I know the characters and plots of seasons 1-10 better than I know myself! I can answer any questions from these seasons. I also own them all on DVD and can answer any questions that go along with that. Please don't ask me questions about song names in the show - they are impossible to find. Hope I can help!

Experience

I started watching Beverly Hills 90210 a few years ago and became thoroughly addicted. I watch the show whenever it is on television and I own all the box sets. I have done copious amounts of research and I know I will be able to answer your questions.
