Question
With the revamped 90210 on TV, I wonder how many of the former characters histories were explained on it.  We all know Kelly became a high school guidance counselor and Brenda a famous actress.  Brandon left LA to work in the Washington bureau of the New York Chronicle. Coincidentally Susan Keats was in Washington working on a campaign.  Did they get back together?  What happened to David and Donna? Did Val ever get her life together?  They showed her at the wedding but never said anything about what she had been doing.  Did Steve and Janet start up another paper and make it a success?

Answer
Hey, Monica.
As far as I know, it didn't say anything about Brandon and Susan getting back together.  They just showed that Brandon left California after he and Kelly decided not to get married.
On the original 90210, David and Donna FINALLY got married in the series finale.  In the new 90210, Donna told that she and David split up because he was cheating on her with an intern in the music industry in Japan I think it was.
It looked like on the series finale that Val did get her life together.  She looked really happy and together.  It really didn't say what Val had been up to probably because the series finale was more based on David and Donna getting engaged and getting married.
Steve and Janet decided to open another newspaper.  It never showed beyond their decision to have baby Maddy in the office with them.
I hope that this helps.

Expertise

I can answer pretty much any question about 90210. I watched it from season one to the end. I felt like I related to the character Donna with her learning disability, and with the Walsh kids because they moved at the beginning of their sophomore year, and I did too. I graduated when the gang did, if I completed college when I was supposed to I would have graduated when they did.

Experience

I am really knowledgable with Brenda, Dylan, Kelly, Brandon, Mel, Jackie, and a little bit of Donna and David.
