Question
In the episode "Back in the High Life Again", original/rerun version, would you happen to know what the song/artist used in the background of the scene where Brenda asks Dylan if he wants to go to the movies that weekend and he declines? It's a male singer, I've never been able to get clear lyrics though. I remember that they are standing in the school hallway with lockers. Brenda may mention something about how she doesn't want Dylan to let their fathers come between them or something along those lines. I know it's before Dylan and Kelly tell her that Dylan has made his choice. If that's not the right episode, it's the one before. Thank you for any help you can provide.

You have the right episode. In "Back in the High Life Again" (3x19), the song that plays at school when Brenda asks Dylan if he wants to go to the movies is "So You Want to Be A Rock N' Roll Star" by The Byrds. I apologize for the late reply.

Well, I began watching "Beverly Hills, 90210" at the tender age of 9 and a half, during its original run. By 11, I was a huge fan; 13, obsessed; 14, growing bitter. I don't like S6 - S10 as much as Seasons 1 - 5. But, technically, I still watch all of them in some way. Do this for 20 years and you'll remember the darndest things.

I'd like to say I've earned a "degree" on the life and times of the original eight, with specific concentration on Seasons 1 thru 5, any Jack McKay drama, Dylan/Kelly together or apart, and the guest stars of 1992-1994. Season 4, I think, was the best and strikingly different from any other. My only weakness might be later-season 'stand-in' characters like Matt and Noah, and the ever-changing ownerships of The AfterDark.
