Question
OKAY SO I LOVE BRENDA AND DYLAN JUST LIKE YOU, BUT ONCE BRENDA LEFT THE SHOW I WAS HEART BROKEN AND MISSED SOME SHOWS. SO MY QUESTION IS......... AFTER DYLAN'S WIFE DIED, HOW LONG WAS IT UNTIL HE LEFT THE SHOW? ALSO WHEN AND HOW WAS IT CLEAR THAT DYLAN MOVED TO LONDAN AND WAS LIVING WITH BRENDA? WAS IT EVER CLEAR IF THEY MARRIED OR BROKE UP IN THE VERY END? THANKS A TON!!!

Answer
Hello Michelle,

Dylan left the show in the same Season 6 episode that he married Toni and she died (One Wedding and a Funeral).

In the Season 6 finale (You Say It's Your Birthday) it was revealed that Dylan was living in London with Brenda. Brandon got an e-mail from Brenda saying so, Kelly got a letter from Dylan saying so, Donna recognized Brenda's return address on a letter from Dylan to her where he had responded to David's e-mail to Brenda asking if she wanted to send Steve a 21st birthday greeting, and Valerie had a phone call from Jonesy (the man that helped Dylan recover his sister and money in Mexico) saying that Dylan was in England (he was calling about another matter for Val and happened to know and pass on the info about Dylan).

They did not end up together at the end of the series.

In Season 8 (November 1997 episodes), Dylan took custody of his little sister Erica with Brandon & Kelly sending her to London. At the end of Season 8 (The Wedding), while on their honeymoon, if Brandon & Kelly had married, they had plans to meet up with Brenda AND Dylan. When Season 9 started, Brandon also tried to convince Kelly to take Donna on the "honeymoon" trip and go visit Brenda AND Dylan.

When Dylan returned in November 1998 (Season 9), he told Kelly that he had left Brenda the same year that Kelly had originally learned he was living with Brenda (1996). He said he had been traveling all over Europe. In Season 10, Dylan told Kelly that he had been at her attempted wedding to Brandon but had left sight unseen because he couldn't take watching her marry the wrong man.

Both of those details were storyline rewrites that completely changed Dylan's whereabouts from whenever he arrived in London after Toni's death and the gang learning he was living with Brenda until shortly before he arrived in Beverly Hills in 1998 (Season 9).

Hope this answers your question. If you have more questions, or got confused, please follow-up with me.

Take care,
Crystal

Expertise

I have seen all 10 seasons of 90210 and have every episode on tape to locate answers. My expertise is on the first 6 seasons and the characters Brenda and Dylan, but I will attempt to answer any question pertaining to the show. Please no scene/dialogue questions because they are very time-consuming and frustrating. However, I will be happy to clarify misunderstood dialogue due to whispering and such if I'm able to. I will attempt to answer any song question for the original airdates and syndication. NO DVD SONG QUESTIONS PLEASE. Please see my "Life Experience" in my profile for song question updates, it may pertain to your question.

Experience

I have every single episode on tape to find the answers. I watched and taped the show religiously. (All requests for copies of my videotapes/episodes will be declined.)
Update: The song used in "Crunch Time" during David's meth addiction is "Living In A Fantasy" by The Rainbow Band. Many thanks to the fellow 90210 Fan that contacted me with the info when they tracked it down. Also, the song used in "One Wedding and a Funeral" that Dylan & Toni dance to is "Nobody Knows Me" by Lyle Lovett. Same song is used during the scene where Dylan is crying while holding the wedding dress and then kitten. David & Donna's wedding song is "Spend My Life With You" by Eric Benet & Tamia. Same song was Steve & Janet's wedding song.
