Hi carmen,

I really appreciate your help but could you please e-mail or post some of the lyrics, if you can understand something. Maybe I could track it down this way.

Hi,

I'm looking for a song that was played on a BH90210 episode from the first season called 'BYOB' when Kelly answers the phone and says 'BH hills party hotline' and then it is Cyndi that wants to talk to her children to check how things are going on while they are off to Palm Springs for the weekend.
This song is sung by a female vocalist, I think, and her voice sounds quite similar to Belinda Carlisle but it is not her. It is quite danceable and the chrus is sth like: 'not be your mother, to be your lover, captive'.

Any information would be really appreciated.

Regrds,
Berto

Hi Berto,
I watched the episode again and know the song you're referring to-it's a great song! I'm so sorry, but I searched and can't seem to find the name of the song or artist. :( My advice would be to ask one of the other "experts" if you have not already. I apologize that I could not be more helpful.

Answer
Hi Bertro,
I apologize for the delay in answering you. The lyrics are very tough to understand (maybe because my tape is so old), so the only lines I could somewhat make out are:
"I am a lover
I'm not a god,
I am rain boy, I am not
I am free, I am the sun (?), I am comfort, making love/make alive
Anything you got there, anything you got there, anything you got there [OR let me be your captive]"

I know these lyrics make no sense, so I probably am misunderstanding them. Sorry I couldn't be of more help and good luck with your search!

Hi. 90210 is my absolute favorite show. I watch it at least twice a day, have my favorite episodes on tape, and can answer any question anyone has about the plot lines. Valerie, Brenda, and David are my favorite characters. I have met few people who love the show as much as I do. 90210 has been my salvation after a hard day, a way to kill boredom, and just pure pleasure. If you are curious about the character`s lives or little tidbits, feel free to ask me. I`ve been known to help people win trivia contests.
