Question
This song played in an episode from the college freshman season. The setting was outside Donna, David, and Kelly's place. Kelly is sitting on a lounge chair reading or doing homework, when John Sears comes by to apologize for something. This is one of 2 songs that I've been trying to find the title of for years. The other ("Clear to You")I found out from reading your reply in the question library. Thanks for that!

I've found a scene where John comes by while Kelly is studying and she is surprised to learn that he knows where she lives. He said that he followed her home because he wanted to bring her flowers. He also says that he respects that she's in a relationship and that he hopes that clears up any misunderstandings between them. In the background the song "Sleeping Satellite" by Tasmin Archer is playing.
The artist name was given by David in the scene right before that one when he played the song for Donna to listen to. I was able to find which song it was due to that one being on her 1993 album and appearing on several compilation albums for songs from the 90s. Then a short sound excerpt on amazon.com confirmed the song.

I have seen all 10 seasons of 90210 and have every episode on tape to locate answers. My expertise is on the first 6 seasons and the characters Brenda and Dylan, but I will attempt to answer any question pertaining to the show. Update: The song used in "Crunch Time" during David's meth addiction is "Living In A Fantasy" by The Rainbow Band. Many thanks to the fellow 90210 Fan that contacted me with the info when they tracked it down.
Also, the song used in "One Wedding and a Funeral" that Dylan & Toni dance to is "Nobody Knows Me" by Lyle Lovett. Same song is used during the scene where Dylan is crying while holding the wedding dress and then kitten. David & Donna's wedding song is "Spend My Life With You" by Eric Benet & Tamia. Same song was Steve & Janet's wedding song.
