Question
I am trying to find out the name of a song that aired in a later episode of 90210. It was following Kelly's shooting (upon her return from Hawaii). Brandon arranges dinner for Kelly at the beach apartment (outside). I am trying to figure out the song that is playing and they dance to. Thanks

Hi Kristin,
That was, "Love Is", by Vanessa Williams and Brian McKnight. It also played a bunch of times in Season 3, and was released as part of the show's first soundtrack CD.
In the scene you speak of ("Coming Home", 8.05, 214), Brandon tells Kelly that he even remembers the first song they ever danced to, back at the Spring Dance in season one. This is said as, "Love Is", swells up in the background, which causes some people to mistake their first song as being this one. But that's not the case. The first song Brandon and Kelly ever danced to was, "Smile", by The Rave-Ups, and Brandon, thankfully, does not say anything to contradict this.

Well, I began watching "Beverly Hills, 90210" at the tender age of 9 and a half, during its original run. By 11, I was a huge fan; 13, obsessed; 14, growing bitter. I don't like S6 - S10 as much as Seasons 1 - 5. But, technically, I still watch all of them in some way. Do this for 20 years and you'll remember the darndest things.

I'd like to say I've earned a "degree" on the life and times of the original eight, with specific concentration on Seasons 1 thru 5, any Jack McKay drama, Dylan/Kelly together or apart, and the guest stars of 1992-1994. Season 4, I think, was the best and strikingly different from any other. My only weakness might be later-season 'stand-in' characters like Matt and Noah, and the ever-changing ownerships of The AfterDark.
