Hi there,
 I'm doing a presentation for my marketing class on alcohol and sex messaging in 90210. I'm wondering if you can give some examples of episodes on alcohol and the image portrayed (cool, bad, illegal, "everyone's doing it," consequences, etc.
 The other piece I'm looking for is episodes involving sex and birth control/disease prevention. I'm looking for a few examples of when sex was indicated between two characters and they talked about protection or a character had a pregnancy/STD scare.
  Overall, do you feel the messages were positive for teens?

ok, i'll try to help as much as possible.  First of all, after Brenda and Dylan were dating for awhile, Brenda realized she was late for her period.  they had an entire episode about her taking the test, going to the doctor and then eventually realizing she was too young to have sex.  It was either the end of the first season or the beginning of the second i believe.

There are countless episodes that involve drugs and alcohol.  Seriously, i couldnt even name them off the top of my head because there are so many and they are all good.  your best bet is to search online for guides to the episodes.  here is a good website...  http://www.angelfire.com/al2/Bhills/
a key episode is while attending college, david gets too far into drugs and has to dispose of a bag full of drugs before the cops get to him.  also, another episode involving david and drugs is when he is babysitting his kid sister and falls asleep and she wanders off and he thinks she has been kidnapped or something.
