bh90210 is my favorite show of all time.  i recently saw they added a link on amazon.com for beverly hills 90210: the complete first season on dvd.  there is no release date listed, but the link is there whereas is wasn't up until recently.  have you heard anything about them getting closer to releasing the show on dvd?

Yes, i knew they were in the works to have the first season come out in DVD because of the growing popularity of series on dvds.  I dont know when they are planning on releasing it though... i would say before christmas time for sure though because it would make a great gift!  goodluck!
