Did Brandon ever leave the show for a period of time to pursue his writing career?
Brandon did leave the show and didnt return in the 9th season. It is possible that he left to pursue a writing career, but what i know for sure is that he wanted to pursue other options with his career in general. I think this meant other acting jobs, producing and directing as well.
