QUESTION: hi, i've been reading all the episode recaps and i still can't find this particular scene i'm looking for. it's a scene with dylan and brenda, i don't think it's in the first season and maybe they've just broken up or something but i think they're at a restaurant or outside and they're sorta fighting and then brenda storms off and dylan kinda dramatically pulls her back, i think he might be sitting down and i think there's a red rose involved? lol any idea what episode that was??

ANSWER: Hi Valarie,
You have got me stumped now too! I first thought it was the one where D and B first start dating ("Isn't It Romantic"), where he gets mad at his father and runs out of the hotel, screams at her, slams down the pot of flowers, and then grabs her and says "I'm an idiot, please don't leave." They also fight in a restaurant in the episode "Rebel with a Cause" (season 3) when Brenda runs into him with Kelly. They are standing during the fight and I don't remember a rose in that one though. I think she does angrily brush past him. They fight in so many episodes :), this is a very tough question.  

If I see the exact scene you've described again during one of my repeated viewings, I will be sure to write back with more info, and let me know if you remember any more details. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

QUESTION: hey carmen, i thought maybe rebel with a cause might have been it but it wasnt.. maybe my memory is all wrong, i think maybe it's an episode where they break up or something and it's sorta like they won't be seeing each other for a while.. maybe it was shannen's last episode, where brenda leaves? i'm so sorry! i'm probably confusing you even more but any help would be great, can u remember any episodes where dylan and brenda break up or something? (i know they break up a lot lol)

-Isn't it romantic: fight outside restaurant
-Palm Springs Weekend: fight in hotel when she sees Dylan with a girl
-It's Only a test: Bren doesn't believe Dylan at first when he says he loves her
-Home Again: break up because Bren thinks she is moving away
-Beach Blanket Brandon: break up in D's car after pregnancy scare
-Summer Storm: fight when Dylan moves into Walsh house after his surfing accident
-Camping Trip: fight about Dylan always being in a bad mood
-Wildfire: fight over Emily Valentine
-Necessity is a mother: fight over Dylan's drinking
-Everybody's Talking' 'Bout It: fight b/c Bren wants to write a story about the pregnancy scare in the school paper
-Cardio Funk: tension since Dylan and Brenda go out with other people
-Wedding Bell Blues: get in fight about Jim's hatred of Dylan after the Baja fiasco
-Misery Loves Company: fight on beach about having to sneak around
-The Twins, the Trustee, and the Very Big Trip: get annoyed with each other when they live together, Dylan insists that Brenda talk to her dad
-Highwire: argue over Dylan's lack of college plans
-Destiny Rides again: Dylan pulls Brenda back when she blows up at him for lying about the summer fling, break up at end of episode
-Rebel with a Cause: restaurant scene
-It's a Totally Happening Life: fight about trying to be "platonic" friends
-Back in the High Life Again: scene where Brenda finds out about Dylan and Kelly and she says she hates them
-Otherwise Engaged: fight when Brenda finds out that Dylan is trying to break up her and Stuart
-Mr. Walsh goes to Washington (Bren's last episode): they don't break up in this one, they actually hook up again when Brenda tells Dylan she will always love him and "won't be in London forever"
