Question
How exactly did Kelly and Dylan tell Brenda about their summer fling? I know it ended with her saying, "I hate you both! Never talk to me again!"But what happened before that? Do you happen to know the lines that they said?

Hi Gina,
The episode where Brenda says that is one of my faves! After Dylan's dad gets out of jail, Kelly goes to a party with Dylan and they hook up in the swimming pool. Dylan has chosen Kelly as his one true love. They realize that they have to tell Brenda the whole truth. So, after school, they go to B's house and ask her to take a walk with them. The big confession comes while Kelly, Brenda, and Dylan are all walking down the street. The lines may not be 100% exact, but they're very close.

D: we know this is hard for you Bren, it's hard for all of us
B: (after kelly tries to comfort her) don't touch me!
B: look, you have made your choice and I have to live with that. And I should have seen it coming. But I don't have to stand here and listen to this. i'm going home ok?
D: no, there's something else we have to tell you
B: well I don't want to hear it, I've heard enough!
D: well you're gonna hear it, bren because neither one of us can stand to lie to you anymore

K: this summer, while you were in Paris. . .
D: look I told you I was with a girl. Kelly was the girl
B: i thought you two were my friends! When I broke up with you you made it seem so innocent, like Kelly was just some girl you picked to go out with! you made it seem like it was my fault!
D: look, we never planned for this to happen
B: no of course you didn't plan it dylan, you just let it happen. And you lied to me, both of you! For months and months!
K: we wanted to tell you the truth, but neither one of us could stand to hurt you
B: oh you didn't think about how I felt at all kelly
D: that's not true!
B: did you two sleep together?
K: no!
B: and why should I believe you?
D: because it's the truth
B: (crying) why are you doing this?!
D: Because we owe it to you to tell you the truth, so maybe we can start again from a place a that's little bit more honest
B: I hate you both! Never talk to me again! (walks away in a huff)
K: do you think she'll be alright?
D: I hope so
K: will we?
(scene/episode ends)
