Bible Studies/Revelations, i really need help!

QuestionHow are you sir? i have a question or questions about the book of revelations and the united states government...i have studied and found shocking and disturbing things about this government... well lets see, i had a dream that god was talking to me and he told me soon something will happen and i will turn from my sinful ways and start spreading the word on horse back, i know it sounds weird huh, but anyway when i woke up i was wanting to read the book of revelations, why i do not know for i haven't read the bible for about 2 months, but i read it and the verse 13:5 stuck out to me, about a week later i flip through the channels on television and i see on the NBC news that a man in Ohio received a identity chip and everyone was talking about how good it was and how useful, well i started to think about the verse (revelations 13:5) and it shocked me!
i start looking stuff up on this and the bible and the government and all the secrets it holds from U.S. citizens and i came across an article saying that there is 600 concentration camps across the U.S. now this shocked me as well! it says in the revelations that there will be a holocaust far greater than any before!
I am just wondering is the revelations upon us?
Is this the last days?
Could that have really been god talking to me?
Could i really travel around and spread his word around?
If so would that bring me great rewards in the after life, i mean will that help me make it to heaven?
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP
AnswerDear Craig,
Question One & Two - I believe we are in the last days and yes the things in Revelations are beginning.
Question Three - It could have been God talking to you, but one would have to compare what he said to you and the Bible. God is not going to contradict himself.
Question Four - You could spread the word, if you studied and knew the word.
Question Five - This question indicates that you do not know the word. Salvation, the forgiveness of sin, has nothing to do with our works. It is by God's grace.
Romans 11:6 And IF BY GRACE, then is it NO MORE OF WORKS: otherwise grace is no more grace. But IF IT BE OF WORKS, then is it NO MORE GRACE: otherwise work is no more work.
Romans 4:4-5 Now to him that worketh is the reward NOT RECKONED OF GRACE, BUT OF DEBT. 5 But to him that WORKETH NOT, BUT BELIEVETH on him that justifieth the ungodly, HIS FAITH IS COUNTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Romans 4:16 Therefore IT IS OF FAITH, THAT IT MIGHT BE BY GRACE;...
Our works, good or bad, have nothing to do with our salvation, but to trust in what God told us to trust in, Christ Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and rising the third day. Faith in Christ Jesus alone saves us.
Now after you are saved your works count toward your rewards in heaven.
Hope this helps.
