Question
According to Gen.1:29,does God COMMAND you to smoke pot?
Does mans law superseed Gods law?

Answer
Genesis 1:29   And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

You ask two questions:
1. “According to Gen.1:29, does God COMMAND you to smoke pot?”
2. “Does mans law superseed Gods law?”

I will answer the second question first.  Man’s law never has the authority to supercede God’s law. History records the sad results that came from human authorities attempting to overrule the Law of the LORD.

The second question is even easier to answer. No.

Here is why:

The Hebrew word translated “meat” means “food.” There isn’t any linguistic way to convert it to include or mean “smoke.”  Additionally, the phrases “bearing seed” and “yielding seed” are translated from the same Hebrew words, and they are probably not inclusive of every form of plant life that produces some form of seed.  Some plant life was and is known to be poisonous to human life, and there are enough Biblical texts that demonstrate that God does not encourage suicide.  While pot has known toxicity for human beings and animals, it also has never been commonly considered a food.  It provides practically nothing of nutritional value, and certainly nothing of nutritional value that isn’t obtained in abundance in those plants that are food sources.

If someone were to argue that pot is to be considered a food, and consumed by means of smoking, I would suggest that they practice consistency, and discover how long it takes to die from smoking all the other forms of plant life that produce seeds.

The Law of God warns human beings from doing those things which are detrimental to the health of their bodies, which were intended by God to be His temples.
1 Corinthians 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
The Greek word translated “defile” does not mean to terribly abuse, but it certainly would include the kind of abuse lungs are subjected to when human beings voluntarily fill them with smoke, either tobacco or marijuana.

My advice is that you not seek a justification for smoking pot from within the pages of the Bible. It absolutely isn’t there.  Doing so might even earn a disciplinary action from the Lord.

Yours for Truth,
CR
