Question
I get the question, " why do people have different appearances around the world?"  I realize that God separated the people at the tower of Babel by language.  I answer the question with, "different appearances come from intermarriage and genetic progression due to the geographical change."  The asker doesn't accept this answer.  Can you help with an answer that might be more acceptable?  If I'm wrong, correct me.  If I'm close can you get me closer?  Anything you can do to help me answer this question would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Answer
Interesting question, David.

Basically, there are three groups of people in the world, Mongoloid, ("Asian"), Caucasoid ("White"), and Negroid ("Black"). Generally, many so called Latin types, with black hair and brown eyes, such as are found in Mexico, fall into the Asian class. I live in China and sometimes vacation in Mexico. There is an obvious resemblance. Many people in either Mexico or China could pass for members of the other group quite easily. The same could be said for American Indians and Eskimos.

There were three sons of Noah who repopulated the earth after the flood.

Expertise

I will gladly respond to questions on perfection, sanctification, justification, the seal of God, and the nature of Christ. I can also help people understand issues related to the ceremonial law and Decalogue in the New Testament. As an SDA, I read more than fifty of Ellen G. White's books in their entirety. I can answer questions about Adventism, from the perspective of a well read member for more than thirty years. Martin Luther's treatise, "The Freedom of a Christian Man" is one of my favorite Christian writings. If I am not comfortable answering a specific question, I will try to refer you to a good resource.
