QuestionWhere can I find the history of the mass Exodus in the Egyptian history or has it been deleted due to shame in the part of the Egypt or it never exist??
AnswerThe history of the Exodus, of course, is found in the Bible, mostly in the book of Exodus. As far as we know, Egyptian writers did not record this event. Where should we look in the Egyptian texts? That is the interesting question.
The earliest mention of Israel in an Egyptian text is the 13th century Merneptah inscription which describes a military action by Egypt in Canaan. However, most scholars want to place the Exodus around 1200 BCE, when the Late Bronze Age ended and the Iron Age began. According to I Kings 6:1 Solomon began his temple building 480 years after the Exodus, which would place the Exodus in the 15th century and explain Israel in Merteptah's inscription.
If the Exodus took place in the 15th century, one scenario has Thutmose I as the pharaoh who's daughter, Hatshepsut, drew Moses from the Nile. The pharaoh of the Exodus would be Thutmose III who despised his mother-in-law / step-mother / aunt Hatschepsut -- and Hatschepsut (who was pharaoh herself) would have prefered Moses to succeed her . . . etc. It is quite a family drama.
I hope this is helpful,
