Question
The role of police in the bible are they enemy or friend? who can be called the police of God?

Answer
Joshua, Romans 13 is often used to refer to the civil authorities. That would include the police. Generally, the police are the friend of people who obey the laws of society. I worked with law enforcement and correctional personnel for a few years. Usually they are good people, the kind you might like for a neighbor or a friend.

There is an informal rule among these types. When they first encounter an individual, a possible suspect, they give a quick "personality test." If you are respectful and polite, you pass the test. Normally, you will be treated likewise. If you have a bad attitude, are disrespectful and rude, you may be in for greater difficulty. There is a reason for this.

One of the finest Christian gentleman I have ever known was an FBI agent. Prior to his FBI career, he worked in military intelligence. He was a great man and a good friend. Most law enforcement types are your friend unless you give them reason not to be.

I will gladly respond to questions on perfection, sanctification, justification, the seal of God, and the nature of Christ. I can also help people understand issues related to the ceremonial law and Decalogue in the New Testament. As an SDA, I read more than fifty of Ellen G. White's books in their entirety. I can answer questions about Adventism, from the perspective of a well read member for more than thirty years. Martin Luther's treatise, "The Freedom of a Christian Man" is one of my favorite Christian writings. If I am not comfortable answering a specific question, I will try to refer you to a good resource.
