In my studies I have found tha smoking pot is about as harmful, if not less, than eating fast food.  In my research I have also found that most churches are against indulging in the plant because it directly goes against "body is the temple".  Should we, as christians, be just as against fat saturated fast food products that kills numerous americans every year, OR should we keep indulgences to a minimum but sometimes allow them for our own pleasure?

 I think you are barking up the wrong tree. The studies DO show the harmful effects of pot. Dig a little deeper in your research.

 Fast food products eaten consistently are not good for us...that goes without saying. There are many things that people eat and drink and smoke that are not good for them. It's up to everyone to make the right and healthy decisions concerning their temple.

 Here's a big difference in pot vs. fast food products. POT IS ILLEGAL!!! I don't care if it is allowed for "medical reasons"...that's a pharse. It is an illegal drug that does a lot of damage to the body according to scientists. In my opinion, it is far worse than fast foods, plus you can get thrown in jail for it. Why in the world would churches condone this?
