The Jewish leaders did not observed the Sabbath correctly and therefore they accused Jesus of breaking it. Hebrews 4:15  "but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin." Jesus was capable of sinning just as we are, but did not. Jesus is our example, we are also capable to live sin free lives through Jesus. Further more the weekly Sabbath observance is not part of the Mosaic law, but the Moral law.
