Bible Studies/Going to Ministries..

QuestionHi there,
I'm just wondering if it should be compulsory for me to go to all my church ministries? I go to a small apostolic church in Australia and even though I can really feel the messages and word that has been spoken at our Sunday service, all our other ministries that we have on during the week doesn't have the same impact.
I've only given my life about 10 months ago and on my first 3-4 months I was really hungry for God so I attended all the church ministries thinking that it could fill the void. On my fifth month I started to realize that my attendance at all these ministries where just physical but didn't get anything spiritually! Maybe I'm just stubborn and I maybe going with a hardened heart, but would it also be criticizing if I only went to our Sunday service and cutting out these ministries that doesn't build me spiritually! Are there any scriptures in the bible that could help me with this?
Help!
Miriame.
AnswerDear Miriame
The New Testament is one where we get "led by the Holy Spirit" (Romans 8)
The call of God should direct us as to what we learn and do. Not some ritual or routine.
The call of God is given to all in one degree or another.
SO relax and ask God to show you what to attend and what not to attend. Following Jesus is following a living entity. He is alive and able to communicate with us.
He wishes direct interaction and not for us to do things according to a set regime or religious routine.
The is the "Jesus way", the gospel.
Hope this helps you
God bless
