Question
where in the Bible does it say sell all that you have and buy gold that is tried by the fire?
Lois, I am not sure to which verse you refer. However, 1 Peter 1:7 speaks of gold tested by fire in reference to faith.
I do not recall the exact phrasing that you seek.
