Question
Some churches won't allow women to preach the word. But  in the New Testament I forgot where there were women preachers. I think it was some of the churches Paul went to. Can you tell me where that was in scripture.

Dear Sydney,
   You may be thinking of Acts 21:8-9.  Philip's "four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy."  Aquila and Priscilla helped Apollos understand the Way better. Acts 18:26, and there was a church in their house. I Cor. 16:19  Romans 16 mentions several women church workers.
   I Timothy 2:12 says,  "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."  so the Southern Baptists don't allow women to be the main pastor.
