Hello and thankyou for taking my question - could you give me any verses in the bible that would indicate we have a different or special relationship with saved family members from earth once we get to heaven? Thank you

Hi Pete,

Thanks for this great question.  David sinned against God and because of that his son died.  David was speaking about the dearture of his son and he said that someday he would go to him.  This tells me that David expected to see him again and recognize him as his own son.

2Sa 12:22  And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?
2Sa 12:23  But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.
