Thank you,

Answer
Hi Marinda and that you for the question!

There are many verses which speak to this truth but one needs to understand this in light of all Scripture. As I say often, "let Scripture interpret Scripture." It is clear from these verses that it is not the fact that any two people agreeing binds God or asking Jesus for something automatically means you get it... One needs to ask according to His will, in His Name... I wrote something on my website about His Name which might be helpful (www.toddtyszka.com/hisname.html) which explains that the phrase "in His Name" means according to God's will or nature as one's name is traditionally reflective of their nature. So you are right to believe these verses by faith and may His Word fill your heart as you ask Him according to His will in His mighty and powerful Name!
