AboutRev C.Brian Ross Expertise I am happy to offer answers to anyone with a question that refers to the Christian Faith in its widest possible sense. I believe that the Bible is the living Word of God, and seek to base all of my life on its teaching. I also have some knowledge of some of the cults, and of Islam and Judaism. Of course, my answers are just one man's thoughts, and I would always advise a questioner to check with others, and with the Word of God.
Experience Served as a full-time parish minister in Scotland for about six years, and then spent the last thirty as a teacher (now 'retired') of Religious Education in Secondary Comprehensive schools (ages 11-17) while continuing my own preaching and teaching ministry. I also believe that learning is a life-time process, and have recently completed a Master's degree in Divinity.

Question Hi, according to Bible
Who is sit on the Throne in Revelation 4:10
and who is the lamb in Revelation 5:6
and who will be the bride of Lamb ?
Answer Hi Nick!
Thank you for a very unusual, but interesting, set of questions.
The Occupant of the throne in Rev 4:10 is God the Father. We may deduce this because:
(i) this is “the One Who lives forever and ever” (4:9), a clear reference to God;
(ii) the elders fall down and worship this One, and lay their crowns before the throne – a symbol of total submission;
(iii) the words of the elders (4:11) are directed to the Lord God, the Creator;
(iv) in 5:6-7 the Lamb – Who is God the Son – approaches the throne to take the scroll from the One seated thereon. In 4:5 it is made clear that God the Holy Spirit, in His seven-fold manifestation (seven being the number of perfection) is in front of the throne.
The Lamb, in Rev 5:6, is the Lord Jesus – God the Son. This is John’s usual description of the Christ in this book. This may be deduced by the fact that:
(i) this Lamb looked as if it had been slaughtered, and its blood bought the redemption of the people of God (5:9);
(ii) this Lamb is worshipped, as God, by the elders (5:14)
The Bride of the Lamb will be the company of the redeemed – the true church (cf Eph 5:22-33; II Cor 11:2) This does not refer to any denomination, but to all of those who have placed their trust in the Lord Jesus for salvation, and who have accepted His Lordship in their lives. In 21:2 the bride is the city – the new Jerusalem. But, of course, just as the church today is not the bricks, stone, and mortar, but the people; so the city is just another description of the people of God in symbolic terminology (cf I Cor 3:9ff)
I trust that this will satisfactorily answer your questions but, should you wish to ask a supplementary question, please do so. You might also find some help at my blog: www.crazyrev.blogspot.com
