Question
how many brothers did he have

Answer
Hi Charles, A passage in 2 Samuel 21: 15-22 describes the relatives of Goliath. The passage is not clear on exactly what the relationship was. Goliath and these men were  were somehow related. Remember David chose 5 smooth stones when he faced Goliath--one for Goliath and one for each of his relatives.

Perhaps you have found a text on the subject which I haven't. I thought that years ago I saw a passage which indicated Goliath had four brothers, but I'm not finding it now.

1 Chronicles 20: 5 says Goliath had a brother named Lahmi. The context also describes family members of Goliath.

Hope this helps
