Question
If God is all-knowing and am sure that He knows man will sinned against Him, why do you think He still want to create man then and now we have all this problem of sin....

Answer
Hi John,

You ask a great question.

God's greatest desire is to be loved. (We are a lot like Him in this way.) Nothing pleases God more than when one shows Him love.

In order for true love to exist, man had to be created with free will. Robots cannot love. It is not genuine love when one is programmed to love, or forced to love. Love must be a choice. Choice demands free will.

When one is given the ability to choose, he is free to choose to love. The flip side of the coin is that he is also free to reject. We call that sin. You cannot have one without the other.

When God created man with free will, He was willing to experience rejection in order to also experience love.

Expertise

I have studied the Bible and Bible-related topics since the time I was very young. My education includes a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Bible, and a Master of Divinity degree. I enjoy delving into deep theological issues and always enjoy a healthy debate. But more importantly, I like working with people and helping them to find the answers that they are looking for. And I am convinced that these answers are available in the Bible.

Experience

By the grace and mercy of God, I have been saved, born again, adopted into the family of God. God has given me a love for the Bible, and for Bible-related subjects. In addition, He has blessed me with ongoing training in the Scriptures, from my youth on up. The more I learn about God through His Word, the more I want to share!
