Question
Brother Readout,

I would love for you to explain this to me in further 8 Steps from Death To Life. During Youth Camp a few years ago, while going to Harkeness Park, Brother Neil mentioned it.  I didn't really understand it then, I brought it up to my mother who is a new Christian.  I realized that I wasn't paying enough attention.  I would love for you to explain this to me in detail.  Or would you rather I'd ask Brother Leite, since he is my Pastor.

Brother Shaun Bingham

Answer
Dear Brother Shaun,

Thank you so much for the courtesy you are showing to your pastor and to me.  One of the troubling aspects of being a volunteer on AllExperts.com is not knowing if I will be creating a conflict with another pastor.  I would much rather have the pastors send me the questions!

Your thoughtfulness and respect for Pastor Leite impresses me.  Here is what I will do for you both.  Please ask Pastor Leite for his permission to obtain this lesson material from me, and have him let me know he approves.  When he agrees, email me directly at this email address:  <readout@earthlink.net>;  specify your name and “AllExperts” in the subject line;  and remind me of your request.  I  will send both you and your pastor a PDF file of the lesson that explains The Eight Steps from Death to Life in detail.

You might be interested in knowing that “The Eight Steps from Death to Life” is the subject of the Doctrinal Foundations I class at the Apostolic Leadership Institute every summer.  ALI will take place July 26-31, 2009 at Assumption College in Worcester, MA.  You must submit an application to be enrolled as a student, the classes and evening services are not open to the public.  The applications, course schedule, and cost information are all available online at <apostolicleadership.com>.  You must be at least sixteen years old to apply for admission to ALI.

Once again, thank you for your courtesy to your pastor, and to me.  I have confidence that Pastor Leite will be pleased with your respect for both of us, and readily agree to my sending you this lesson material.  Remember to ask him to contact me with his approval.

Yours for Truth,

CR
