Would you consider revising your answer about Abraham's wives to one that
points out that Abraham had just one wife who he was faithful to even though
she was barren and it was considered very important for a man to have
offspring in those days-that he did NOT take another wife even though it was
common for others to have multiple wives at that time and he was the
wealthiest
man around-that he did not take Hagar as his wife but just as a woman
willing
to carry a child in his wife's place and this was not until he was 86 years old-
that he later realized that this was not the route that God had intended when
He
gave His promise to Abraham. We are told to look to Abraham in the
Scriptures
as an example. People need to see that Abraham upheld the concept of one
man
faithful to one wife for 86 years until he was deceived into thinking that God's
promise would be fulfilled through Hagar. Polygamy was not something that
Abraham .

No, I am sorry. I will stick by what I wrote before as this was researched very intently. Abraham tried to rush the process and was not following God's will. Abraham is an example to use that people do mess up...even though God has a specific plan for us.
