I'd like to thank you for earlier responses to my question re: Jasher.  What exactly are your credentials?  Do you have degrees in biblical studies?  in studies of ancient literature?  I've tried to find out from the website, but I can't find anything specific, only the general area of expertise.  What's your background that makes you knowledgeable?  And thank your for your response.

  My primary area of scholarship is Bible.  I have published in several international scholarly journals such as Novum Testamentum, Revue Biblique, Zeitschrift fur die Alttestamentliche Wissenschaft, etc.  I read Hebrew and Greek (and other languages) and have an extensive library to consult.  I also have a broad background in ancient studies, expecially Classics.
