hi
i just want to know whether there are any verses in the bible regarding the reconstruction/construction of a church..
My church(parish to which i belong) is being re-constructed..
Hi Sibi,
Biblically the people are the Church. The building is not defined. The Church can meet anywhere. Most early Christians met in private homes.
Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
The elders of the congregation are free to determine where the Church will meet. They can rent a space, erect a building, or whatever they deem best to meet the needs of the community.
