Question
brother west greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,

I have one question for you,1Timothy 3:16 please explain was it the one true God the creator of the heavens and the earth that manifested himself in the flesh or was it one of the three persons of the trinity or the whole three.
                                 Thank you.

Answer
One of the three persons.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was WITH God, and the Word WAS God...and the Word became flesh..." (John 1:1, 14)

Jesus, on person of the triune but one godhead, became man and took on flesh.  God the father is pure spirit.  The holy spirit seems to appear under various forms, like a dove or tongue of fire.  But only Christ became incarnate.

Hope that helps,

Pax Christi,
