QuestionIs oral sex okay in God's eyes in a marriage? What about anal sex?
I'm unsure if these are okay and tend to push my husband away from them due to sinning against God.
What do you think?
AnswerI Corinthians 7:4-5 lays down the principle that the wife's body belongs to her husband, and the husband's body belongs to the wife.; and Hebrews 13:4 declares that the marriage bed is undefiled. There is another verse of scripture equally inspired of God which should regulate our conduct within the bonds of marriage.
In I Thessalonians 4 we are told that we ought to know how to walk in such a way as to please God (verse 1).
In verse 3 it tells us that we must abstain from fornication. The word pornography is derived from the Greek word porneia. It means unlawful sexual conduct, harlotry, or whoredom, whether the individual is married or unmarried.
Verse 4 tells us we should know how to possess our vessels (bodies) in holiness and purity. It also includes our mate’s body as well.
Verse 5 tells us that in possessing our bodies we are not to do as the Gentiles (unsanctified and unholy heathen or sinners) do, for they do so with an unbridled sexual excesses of a depraved or abnormal nature.
Caresses are normal and should lead to the normal marriage relationship and never take place through perverted desire.
