in which part of the holy book bible law was given?

The Law of Moses is given in Moses' five books, the Torah:
Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.
Exodus and Leviticus contains the bulk of it. The Law was revealed and expanded gradually throughout Moses' life. He was in a sense "the living Torah" (as Sri Vasudeva was the living Veda)
Especially consider: Exodus 20:1-17
The Law of Moses is "the Book of the Covenant" between HaShem (the God of Israel) and the Hebrew/Jewish People: Ex. 24:7,8; 34:27,28; Deut. 4:13-16,23,31; 8:18; 9:9,11,15. There is an addendum to the Law in Deut. 29.
Also understand that Jews also base their beliefs on the extra biblical Oral Torah.
