Question
Good day Mr.McClellan, i'm Brian from Malaysia. I'd like to inquire about the role one human/men should play from the perspective of a Christian, in accordance to the holy Bible.

I'm not a Christian myself, but I'd like to understand what, why and how a man should serve the Holy Trinity.

Thank you for your time.

Answer
Hello Brian,
You've asked questions that can take a great deal of time to answer if a reasonably thorough job is done, especially since there is so much serious misunderstanding about them. Reading the New Testament very carefully would be a very good place to begin finding the answers. However, many of the most fundamental terms used by the writers of the Bible are not very well understood by most people these days and you need to know the definitions that were used by those who wrote the Bible. For example, the word "faith" is typically not used today with the same meaning that the writers of the Bible had in mind when they spoke of true "faith." Today, most people have the same concept of faith that people who believe in false gods and who fall for the teachings of false teachers have. Simply put, today most people use faith the same way they use prejudice and credulaty. That concept was adamantly condemned by the writers of the Bible.
Just today, I read that an old Catholic priest in Hawaii was being prepared to become a saint. Such an idea is totally foreign to the Bible and is clearly a false teaching. You see, the word "saint" is short for "sanctified," or "sanctify." It's the idea of being seperated from something else because of some important difference. According to the writers of the New Testament, the moment a person becomes a Christian they become a saint because they are of a very different mind than the rest of the world. They become a member of the kingdom of God, seeking a clear understanding of God's will for mankind as well as a sincere desire to obey God's will and avoid sinning, or behaving indifferent to or in rebellion to God. So, it is absurd to think that a person only becomes a saint at some later time in their life and may never become a saint at all. According to the Bible, every Christian is a saint. See 1Cor. 1:2 for example.
Now, as to what a person is to do. Generally, a person who wants to be in the kingdom of the true God must treat other people the way he/she would want to be treated by other people. Second, after Jesus was, according to the Bible, resurrected from death back to life in an immortal body, he commanded (ordered) his disciples to go everywhere preaching this good news to everyone (the good news that death is not the end of life and that Jesus has the power to resurrect those who will be faithful to him in this life).
As to why serve the Biblical God, the Bible writers clearly indicated that real miracles were performed by legitimate representatives of the true God to prove that what they said was true and was from the true God. Jesus was one of these representatives and, in fact, was one of the members of the Trinity that had been involved in creating the universe and, of course, everything in it. The New Testament is filled with accounts of his miracles as well as of those done by his followers and of how they were done in front of large numbers of people all for the purpose of proving the truthfulness of what the Bible says so that people would have a legitimate basis for believing in and obeying Jesus in order to receive immortality and not be believing in Jesus without any proof that their faith was not just a prejudice like the faith of people who believe in false gods and who follow the teachings of false teachers like those that I've implicated above.
One more thing. Of all the writings that remain from the days of Jesus, there are none that attempt to disprove the miracles that the Bible speaks of. In fact, the writings of even those people who would have nothing to do with Christians contain comments about those miracles without any indication that they were thought to be tricks or not real. Here is the address of a site that you need to know about and to read the contents of. http://www.scripturessay.com/printpage.php?id=7 Read it carefully. Print off a copy for yourself and read it. This is excellent stuff.
If you need any other help, or if I need to clearify anything that I've said here, let me know.
Sincerely,
Mr. McClellan

I can answer questions concerning Christian doctrine as well as other kinds of questions relating to religion. One important thing, among many, that needs clearing up is the meaning of religion. Religion is any system of belief that tries to explain how people should think and behave so that life is the best it can be. The definition found in the dictionary is seriously in error being based on popular but wrong ideas. Email me at and.the.truth.is@GMX.com for a free PDF 5 page introduction to my just completed book, "And The Truth Is?" It's uniquely different and interactive, designed to show you that you can actually know the way, the truth, and the life Jesus spoke of and what he expected people to do to participate in it as well as what to expect if they did.

Experience

My education puts me second to none in this area and I have had over forty years experience in the area of teaching Christian theology, doctrine, apologetics, hermeneutics, history, and philosophy. Publications: Among the things that I have written is a summary of the entire Bible that is intended to help people put it all together and quickly understand exactly what the writers of the Bible intended for everyone to understand. By reading it and then reading the Bible, the correct understanding should become quite clear and a sincere student will recognize that they have received an invaluable aid to knowing how to correctly interpret the Bible so that they can know, with certainty, that they are understanding it correctly. At the same time, they will be able to recognize the vast number of false doctirnes that are being called Christian doctrines but are only the teachings of men and have no more authority than any oridinary man can give them.

Organizations
I belong to no officially recognized organizations. I'm simply a person with a deep and lifelong desire to know the truth, a desire so strong that I have, for more than 50 years, poured myself and a lot of money into finding it and making sure of it. I believe that life is too short and valuable to waste it believing a lot of stuff that isn't true. Everyone can't be right and be in disagreement at the same time and the claims made by the writers of the Bible are simply too serious to guess about.

Publications
It's quite obvious that the Bible is not easy to comprehend thus all the divided opinions about what it teaches. I am finalizing a short treatise on the Bible that I believe will help a lot of people who seriously want to get a clear understanding of what the Bible actually has to say to everyone, a treatise that should take the mystery out of it and show that it really makes sense. People deserve help in recognizing the truth about what the Bible says because there is so much false teaching about it that is actually leading people away from God instead of to God. It should be ready to send out by the end of this year, 2011 or before. Now, you can purchase a PDF copy of my book "And The Truth Is?" on CD. It's very unique and it's interactive. If you're tired of living with a best guess and want to learn for certain what the truth is, this, the result of over 50 years of research and serious study, is what you're looking for.

Education/Credentials
I have two degrees in education, including religious belief systems. I also have many years of experience and many thousands of hours of study and research on which I've based my new book, "The Bible Actually Makes Sense."

Awards and Honors
All of my awards and honors are in the form of compliments from people who've read or listened to my attempts to help them understand what the Bible is about and how to comply with what it actually says. So many have said, in one way or another, that I helped them more than anyone they had ever met. It's comforting to know that my efforts to be of value to others is appreciated.
