Question
Why did God feel like He needed to prove Himself to Satan?
How could Job ask for forgiveness for his children?
How can God look upon Satan when God could not look upon sin or Jesus when He was on the cross?

Valerie, I am very sorry for my delay, but I was in the hospital.

1.- God dosent have to prove to not body. what God did was (Job1:9-12;2:4-5)if you read the chapter you will understand better.Job was thus "delivered unto satan", This was God"s response to Satan"a taunting challenge. Evidently it was inorder to show that God is able to sustain His people through any trial. the demostration was complete, and the record of it has been of great help and comfort to God"s people through the ages.

If you have no children you never will understand why Job ask forgiveness for his kids. as parents will always asks forgivenes for our kids sins, why? it is a natural thing. maybe if you have sister or brother one day you blame your self for something the you did not do.
3.- God did not look upon Satan, if you read the chaper 1 verses 6 , ONE DAY THE ANGEL'S CAME TO PRESENT THEMSELVES BEFORE THE LORD, AND SATAN ALSO CAME WITH THEM. THE LORD SAID TO SATAN. WHERE HAVE YOU COME FROM?.. SATAN ANSWER THE LORD... FROM ROAMING THROUGH THE ERATH AND GOING BACK AND FORTH IN IT.....

As angel Satan have to report to Gods to like the rest of Angels.
