Question
Hi. I'm needing a more mature Christian,please, to help me find an exact scripture. Can you please tell me where I might find where it says that all peoples are given a chance to accept or reject God's word?
My friend says that the Bible says if people truly believe something else, then God won't hold them accountable. I know that's wrong, but can't give the exact location. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Lisa,
Matthew 28:18-20 is one place, and John 14:6 is another. The gospel was to be preached to all the world and no one who does not accept Jesus can be friends with God. If Jesus was in agreement with your friend, he would have told his disciples to keep their beliefs to themselves and let others believe whatever they want.
The Bible says that Jesus is the only one that can raise dead people back to life and immortality. If they don't listen to him and obey his teachings, they cannot have eternal life. He and his apostles performed many miracles to prove this true.
What proof does your friend offer to show that Jesus lied? What miracle has your friend performed to back up what she/he says?

My education puts me second to none in this area and I have had over forty years experience in the area of teaching Christian theology, doctrine, apologetics, hermeneutics, history, and philosophy. I belong to no officially recognized organizations. It's quite obvious that the Bible is not easy to comprehend thus all the divided opinions about what it teaches. I am finalizing a short treatise on the Bible that I believe will help a lot of people who seriously want to get a clear understanding of what the Bible actually has to say to everyone, a treatise that should take the mystery out of it and show that it really makes sense. People deserve help in recognizing the truth about what the Bible says because there is so much false teaching about it that is actually leading people away from God instead of to God.
