Bible Studies/the anoited one

Question
Interesting. Perhaps you may answer the following question. Who is the anoited one in Genesis and Ezekeiel? When, how and how could he, whom we know as the adversary disobey God if he were an angel, one of which is a messenger and one who serves God with no free will yet with the knowledge of good and evil as God? Final question in this paragraph. If whom many know as Jesus Christ is not the Messiah in the Jewish community for not fullfilling all the prophosies then how is he the savior of the Catholic and Christian community?

Answer
The revelation of God progressed slowly before Jesus.  Early authors did not necessarily have a clear and distinct idea of how God's promises would be fulfilled.  Moses looked for a prophet like himself.  At the time of Jesus, many Jews were looking for the Anointed to be a king [kings were anointed at the start of their reigns].
The gospels [especially Matthew] and Acts reflect how Jesus did truly fulfill the promises/prophecies of the Anointed.  The proof of Jesus' divine commission was in the resurrection from the dead as witnessed and preached by many Jews, especially the Twelve, the early deacons, and Paul.
In Acts and Paul's letters we learn that many Jews did accept Jesus as the Messiah.  However, people do have free will and choose what they believe and accept.  Paul too looks forward to conversion among the Jews -- read Romans chapaters 9 through 11.
I hope these thoughts are some help to you, Gesus.  If you would like more, please feel free to write again.
Best wishes.
