Question
Was Adam and Eve punishment fair? Why?

Answer
Dear Bass,

What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. (Romans 9:14 KJV)
Although I understand your question, you have to realize that there is no unrighteousness with God therefore the punishment was either fair, just or mercifully less than they deserved. In this case it was less than they deserved. Eternal damnation is the reward for such.
But, God takes responsibility for providing the choice, for creating evil with the good and provided for the salvation from his wrath to all sinners. Therefore, God covered their sin and sent them out of the garden, fallen men to await their salvation.

I hope this helps.

But, if your seeking the truth of God`s word, I can give my opinion and show from the Scriptures the basis for why I believe it is the correct interpretation of the Bible on most questions.
