Mr. McClellan,

            A long awaited hello to you sir. It has been sometime since I last kept dialog with you. I trust China released you in good health and physical strength, and that you are still tolerable of young Christian minds such as myself. Now, Lasciviousness is a term I often heard pastors use when condemning oral sex and anything else besides Adam & Eve mating. How does the bible address this? Also, does the bible condemn having a drink of wine occasionally, or even a beer? Thank You in advance and I look forward to a resumed dialog with you sir if you will have me.

I'm fine and thanks for the well wishes.
Lasciviousness in a word that describes a state of mind where a person is looking for and ready for opportunites to take sexual advantage of someone not their own marriage partner. It's a desire for adultery or fornication.
A little wine of beer is OK. Those things become a problem when a person lets them take control and alcoholism and drunkenness takes over. So, be very careful with such things. It can be pretty easy, once you've become used to them, to let these things get a grip on you and take over your life. Don't make the mistake of drinking these things just because other people do or to be sociable. If you don't like them, it's nothing to be ashamed of. Rather, it's better if you don't like them and being honest about it to others. Don't let other people push you to do things that are dangerous or morally questionable. And, keep in mind that the motive with which you do things is the difference between right and wrong.

Experience

My education puts me second to none in this area and I have had over forty years experience in the area of teaching Christian theology, doctrine, apologetics, hermeneutics, history, and philosophy. I belong to no officially recognized organizations. I'm simply a person with a deep and lifelong desire to know the truth, a desire so strong that I have, for more than 50 years, poured myself and a lot of money into finding it and making sure of it. I believe that life is too short and valuable to waste it believing a lot of stuff that isn't true. Everyone can't be right and be in disagreement at the same time and the claims made by the writers of the Bible are simply too serious to guess about.

It's quite obvious that the Bible is not easy to comprehend thus all the divided opinions about what it teaches. I am finalizing a short treatise on the Bible that I believe will help a lot of people who seriously want to get a clear understanding of what the Bible actually has to say to everyone, a treatise that should take the mystery out of it and show that it really makes sense. People deserve help in recognizing the truth about what the Bible says because there is so much false teaching about it that is actually leading people away from God instead of to God. Education/Credentials
