Question
Hello.  I pray that you're having an excellent day.  Can you please tell me how many times Pharaoh was asked by Moses and Aaron to release the Children of Israel?  Thank you so much for your time.

Answer
Hello,

Thanks for your question!

In Exodus chapter five to chapter twelve, Moses goes in to Pharaoh numerous times and during this time ten plagues are sent on the Egyptians. The text is not clear on how many times Moses and Aaron specifically asked Pharaoh to release the Children of Israel, however, given the number of the plagues, a good guess would be that they asked ten or eleven times. Five times, in the text, Moses says to Pharaoh: “Let my people go.”

I hope this is helpful.
