Question
I understand not chanting in repetition but in regards to the Lords Prayer, if it is said each day would that be classified as repetition?
Dear Gladys,
Why say it at all. God is very real person. Talk to him. Jesus said "in this manner pray", not repeat this prayer....
He outlined the basic attitudes needed to contact God and the facts like.... do repeat your need.. etc.. God already knows what you need...so He is very involved with our lives.
So talk to him using these attitudes and approaches never repeat the Lord's prayer . It shows everyone that you don't know God at all.
