Question
What happened to Queen Vashti after she did not
follwo the kings orders and she left the palace
I am in a study of Esther and this is puzzling?

The Bible does not go into detail about what happened to Queen Vashti, other than to say that she was forever banned from the king's presence.
Some Jewish scholars believe she was beheaded. See http://www.tfdixie.com/holidays/purim/002.htm
According to Buzzle.com, "Although the Bible states that Vashti’s queen ship was simply taken from her, generally, the Jews believe that she was put to death; however people outside of the Jewish realm believe that her husband basically divorced her."
Why is this puzzling to you? Perhaps you're just curious?
