Question
What is the simplest way to prove that Jesus's is God's son and, the proof and reason that He is the only way to Heaven. to someone who believes in God but not Jesus.

Answer
Hi Mary,

I suppose that the best way to prove to someone that Jesus is God's Son to someone who will not take Jesus' words for it would be to show Old Testament Prophecy.

1.  Isaiah prophecied that the Messiah would be very God in the Flesh.  The Baby Messiah would be known as the MIGHTY GOD, and THe PRINCE OF PEACE.  A Prince is the Son of a King.

Isaiah 9:6
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

If Jesus did not fulfill this prophecy, who did?

2.  Job, the oldest book in the Bible, tells us that he believed in a Redeemer.  A redeemer is someone who pays the price owed by another.  Clearly Job believed that someone was his redeemer and that he would see him some day.  God the Father did not pay for anyone, that is what Jesus did.

Job 19:23-27
23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!  24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever! 25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:  27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

3.  Since we see the concept of redemption, we also will see that the Messiah would do just that.

Isaiah 53:4-6,10
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.   6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

THese are just some of the Old Testament prophecies concerning who the messiah would be. It is also powerful to see who Jesus claim to be, but I wll not burden you with that unless you ask.  I am sorry for my late response.
