AboutRev C.Brian Ross Expertise I am happy to offer answers to anyone with a question that refers to the Christian Faith in its widest possible sense. I believe that the Bible is the living Word of God, and seek to base all of my life on its teaching. I also have some knowledge of some of the cults, and of Islam and Judaism. Of course, my answers are just one man's thoughts, and I would always advise a questioner to check with others, and with the Word of God.
Experience Served as a full-time parish minister in Scotland for about six years, and then spent the last thirty as a teacher (now 'retired') of Religious Education in Secondary Comprehensive schools (ages 11-17) while continuing my own preaching and teaching ministry. I also believe that learning is a life-time process, and have recently completed a Master's degree in Divinity.

Question i have asked this question to other Clergy people, and many others to, but never yet got a clear reply
in the begining according to the bible, God created Adam, then came Eve, then Caine & Abel, as we know Caine killed Abel, and that leaves only 3 people on our planet so
How or Where did other people come from ???? to create more people ???
Answer Hi Carol,
Thank you for your question. The answer is, in fact, fairly straightforward. If you turn to Gen.5:4, you will find that Adam and Eve had a number of offspring other than the three sons who are named. So your basic premise is wrong - there were more than three people (possibly a lot more!) from whom the early world was populated.
This does, of course, raise another question as to the perceived (by some) incestuous relationships that must have been involved - brother and sister being in a physical sexual relationship with one another.
Two important points must be made: (a) the laws of incest were not put in place until the inception of the Levitical law (Lev.18:6 ff), so did not apply at the very beginning of the human race. (b) the reason why this was not a problem is that the gene pool was still very pure (totally so in the case of Adam and Eve) so that the inherent tendency for the children of such unions, today, to inherit the recessive, detrimental genes that bring out the worst in the family tree, did not apply.
