Question
which two books of the bible where the word GOD was not mentioned  .2 in the book of matthew JESUS is called the messiah, what is JESUS called in the book of Romans. thanks.

Answer
Dear Friend,

Thanks for your questions.

Neither Esther nor Song of Solomon mention the name of God, and yet in both you can see God moving in the background, bringing blessings to His faithful people, and curses upon their enemies.

The word “Messiah” only appears in the Gospels in the book of John. All four gospels repeatedly use the word “Christ” which is the Greek translation of “Messiah.”

In Romans, as in all the Pauline letters, Jesus is variously called “Jesus,” “Jesus Christ,” “Christ,” “Lord Jesus Christ,” or some other combination.

The more important question, however, is: “Do I know this Jesus, Who is called the Christ?” You see, it’s a matter of life and death that we read our Bibles earnestly in order to find out our own saving relationship with Jesus. We want to be certain that when He shall appear in the clouds, we will know Him and want to spend eternity with Him.
