Sir, I want to know if the word TRINITY is mentioned in the bible?
pls qoute me a verse so that i can explain it to my friend muslim?

Hi Jhun,

Thank you for this great question.  The word trinity is not in the Bible but the word godhead is.  We also have the three persons of the godhead mentioned and told that they are one.

Romans 1:20
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

1 John 5:7
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

The "word" is speaking of God the Son.

John 1:1-3,14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

We are also told to be baptized in all three persons of the trinity.

Matthew 28:19
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
