Question
When the rapture occurs...will those who are left behind have another chance for salvation?  I have been told that only those who have not yet heard the message of salvation will have a chance to accept Jesus Christ during this period after the rapture. Those who had heard and not accepted the gift before the rapture would not have another chance. Thankfully, I am already saved.

Dear Dottie,
   Thanks for writing.  I was taught to believe the same thing you mentioned, but I'm not sure future prophecies can be 100 % understood until they unfold and people at that time respond to the Bible's message.
   II Thessalonians 2:10-12 should be a concern to people putting God off for a future time, as they should be concerned about hell.  No one can be assured of life one minute in the future, so we should earnestly pray for those who live for themselves instead of living for God.
   May our lives reflect God's image and light the way for others to trust God.
