QUESTION: INVERSE PASCAL'S WAGER
I'm sure you have heard of Pascal's Wager sometimes used to Evangelize Children, but how do you handle the Inverse Pascal's Wager that says the following. - - - IF God will damn those who follow not the doctrine of Christ, whom are as Obvious Infidels to The Only True God, THEN it is better to be agnostic with God, because IF you wilfully follow a false teacher or even Satan (Reverend Jim Jones of French Guyana 1970's, David Koresh of Waco TX, Heaven's Gate San Diego, child molesting branches of The Catholic Church in The Inerrant Infallable Doctrine), THEN you will suffer God's Blinding to your eternal damnation.  AND SO with the threat of eternal torment, for following the false God who cannot be tested, but yet must be interrogated in the church that also doesn't want to be questioned, for the lies they secrete away, IT would be better to take the Inverse Pascal's Wager, and be agnostic and a law unto one's self in God's Eyes, THAN to accidentally follow the evil ones without the whole and unadulterated unleavened word, with any more than one iota or jod altered, for even the church will say to keep your children at home if they ask too many questions of the unquestionable God.

So that you have context for analysis, I have included the verses from the AKJV, that checks in paper, internet, and personal computer archived versions, to convey the meaning of this peril to Christians in following the evil ones, that already work in the world.  Please address every verse, if there is a point against Inverse Pascal Wager, as they hang together, and so many humans skim to their own destruction in gloss, over and over again.

First, what is the doctrine of Christ?

The first five chapters of the book of Hebrews teach us what this doctrine is:

1. Jesus is Spokesman for the Father
2. He is Heir of all things
3. The Father created the universe through Him
4. Jesus is the "radiance of God's glory," the "exact representation of His Being"  
5. He sustains all things by His powerful Word"
6. He was made a Brother to human beings; He was tempted in every possible way, yet remained without sin
7. He provided purification from sin by dying to pay for it, "Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death--that is, the devil--and free those who all their lives were held in slavery..." Hebrews 2:14
7. He is our merciful and faithful High Priest of our confession of the New Covenant written in His Blood
8. He is the Author of eternal salvation
7. He now sits at the Father's right hand

Taking II John 1:9 in context, see verse 7, John is talking about the Gnostics who taught that God wouldn't deign to take on human flesh because it's just too nasty. When John says in verse 10, "If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching (the doctrine of Christ taught in Hebrews), do not take him into your house or welcome him," he's not talking about keeping the Law or doing works, but about what we believe. The doctrine of Christ is all about what we believe, not about what we do.

Therefore, if you do not believe in the doctrine of Christ, you don't believe in Him as Savior, you will go to hell. Jesus said, "I am the Way the truth and the Life, no man comes unto the Father but by Me," John 14:6. All that we must do to be saved is to believe in our hearts that Jesus was raised from the dead and confess with our mouths, "Jesus is Lord," Romans 10:9, there is no keeping of the Law, no observing every jot and tittle.

Paul addresses the idea of becoming a "law unto one's self," "All who sin apart from the Law will also perish apart from the Law, and all who sin under the Law will be judged by the Law," Romans 2. "There is no one righteous, not even one," Romans 3:10 & Psalm 14:1-3; 55:1-3. Someone who operates as "a law unto one's self" will perish just as the one who places himself under the Law will also perish because neither one can keep from sinning. It is only by Grace (God's unmerited favor purchased by Jesus on the cross) by faith (what we believe in our hearts) that we are saved--not by works, Ephesians 2:8.

It is not better to be an agnostic, not only does the agnostic perish, but the Heavens declare there is a God and do so with constant testimony so that he has no excuse, Romans 1:20.

I do not know this God "who cannot be tested." We are instructed to test every spirit to discover whether it be from God or not, which means sometimes we will be testing God, I John 4:1. However, when we are told not to "test" God, those passages refer to taunting God, Psalm 78:17 & 18 describing the behavior of the children of Israel who were ugly and spiteful to God, or satan who tempted Jesus to get out of line with God, Luke 4. These passages do not refer to asking for proof or seeking answers to questions.

I do not know an "unquestionable God," which from the context of your question I take you mean a God who does not allow people to question Him. My God invites my questions. Psalm 13 is an example of many in the Psalms, Job, even Jesus cried, "Why have You forsaken me?" Matthew 7:7 Jesus says, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." I have asked God many, many questions and He has answered me. "This is what the LORD says, He who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it--the LORD is His Name: Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know," Jeremiah 33:2 & 3.

The II Thessalonians 2 passage concerns the second coming of Jesus, verse 1. Daniel 9:27 (and other passages in Daniel); II Thessalonians 2 and Revelation 13 all refer to Anti-Christ who will make a seven-year deal which will include the rebuilding of the Jewish temple. All three passages refer to a time when Anti-Christ will enter the temple, declare himself god and erect an idol to himself--the abomination that causes desolation. Jesus also refers to this event in Matthew 24:15. Anti-Christ "exalts himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, and even sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God," II Thessalonians 2:4. This is not referring to a Christian church. It is prophecy for the events around Jesus' second coming.

The people to whom God sends a "powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth," II Thessalonians 2:11, are ones who already have been busy rejecting God. "They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved," II Thessalonians 2:10. God is not deluding them in order to damn them, they were already damned by their own choosing.

Peter warns about false prophets and teachers, but I do not see any reference indicating God has ordained these false prophets and teachers. Peter describes what false prophets and teachers will do, but he also points out that God is able to "rescue godly men from trials," II Peter 2:9.

II Corinthians 4:3, when Paul says, "if our gospel is veiled..." he means that when the lost don't understand, it's because the devil blinds them. But this need not be a permanent condition, if it were, nobody could be saved.

God is always looking for ways to break through satan's screens. It is not God's will that any should perish, but He wills that ALL should come to salvation, II Peter 3:9. Paul continues in verse 6, "For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made His Light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." He goes on to speak of this as treasure in jars of clay. I see no indication of God hiding His Light in this passage. He is doing whatever He can to bring people to salvation, including the song the entire universe sings announcing He created it. But it behooves all believers to let the Light God has planted in our hearts shine for all the world to see.

God is in the business of saving the lost, "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will in inherit the kingdom of God. AND THAT IS WHAT SOME OF YOU WERE. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ by the Spirit of our God," I Corinthians 6:9-11. These sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexual offenders, thieves, greedy, drunkards, slanderers and swindlers were all once evil people, but they were washed, sanctified and justified--if these can be saved, any can be saved.

The Jeremiah 9 passage refers to the people alive at the time (Israel and Judah) to whom Jeremiah was sent, not to persons alive today.

The New Covenant of Grace by Jesus' Blood is a better covenant. It does not require anything from us except that we believe. Once we have believed, we then desire to be more like Jesus because His great Love woos us to be drawn closer to Him and sin blocks us from Him. It is like a man who once having discovered a source of heat and been warmed in it, he will do whatever he needs to do to remain in that source of heat; because it blesses him so thoroughly he will be glad for God to remove all obstacles. For it is God who must do the work, not us, Philippians 1:6, all we must do is believe and surrender.

Inverting Pascal's Wager, as you have proposed here, will not work. The agnostic will die in his sins same as the one who knows the Law, because both sin. We are not saved by works, but by Grace (God's unmerited favor). We cannot keep every jot and tittle of the Law, but instead bask in Jesus' power to keep it and accept His righteousness as our own when we receive Him as Lord.

QUESTION: FALSE CHURCHES LIKE RAVENING WOLVES ALREADY WORKING IN THE WORLD
In modern times, I have heard from the Christian Teachers in some places, that II John 1.9, refers not just to The Gnostics solely, but is an archetype to every Church of God that doesn't convey the Entire Doctrine, observing every Jod and Tittle and Iota, because God thought it was important to observe the least mark on His Word, and not let it just slide as details, where the Devil is in it.  This response has a slanted the meaning, in my unction, to say that not anyone can follow the Jod and Iotas, claiming that is only The Law (source) which is Spiritual, AND YET I refer to every word that proceeds from the mouth of God in His Word, including Christ (Matthew 4.4, Deuteronomy 8.3).  Because going to the law, as some Christian Teachers say, go murder someone, or have another God equal to God, like America Judicially Protects all other gods from here to India and China, to find out that the Old Testament Law may be Fulfiled by Jesus' Sacrifice, but is not done completely away with in Life with God.  So like an Eve, some suggest that not everyone can follow every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, because it is Law, and that every word that proceeds from the mouth of God is just a rule of thumb, and not Really to be followed feasably???  It sounds like the Traditions of Men that make null and void every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Mark 7.7-8).  You also focus exclusively on the Hebrews Teaching alone, and not Every Word, as Hebrews is not even mentioned in II John, so I don't understand the peculiar private interpretation, which you have run across, from This World.  AND YET, Even there, in Hebrews 13.9 it says to beware of strange doctrines, of which you cannot judge, without knowing every Jod and Tittle in Every Word in God's Strong Meat.  So with Traditions of Men, that claim The Gnostics alone, we can ignore all teachers in the church with strange doctrine, not knowing the meat, and in milk, because we need not know Every Word from God's Mouth, because Others wish to call it all Law???  I disagree, only because these other churches, say also to beware false teachers like the Revelation 2-3 church's of Philadelphia and Smyrna who know who are of the synagogue of Satan, saying they are Jews and are not, in The Temple.  OTHERWISE, every non Gnostic church without the doctrine of Christ and God can be accepted???  I think not, still, and remain unconvinced in The Word.  For some of these Christian Churches say to sometime not even take into your home Seventh Day Adventists and Mormons and other Cult Branches of Christ, who in some parts believe in much to all of the unsourced Doctrine of Christ that you list, and who are Not Exclusively Gnostic Churches, and would fool those in the milk requiring teaching all over again (Hebrews 5.11-14).  As I John 2.18 onward says to worry about antichrists in the world even then and today who's spirit is not of God and Christ.  Of course, all of the churches who do say to beware the generalized church that has not the entire doctrine of God and Christ, could be accused of being manipulators of antichrist, themselves, even if they are not Gnostics Specifically.  So there, we would have a self referential systems paradox, where these churches are corrupt in Christ, and do the work of Principalities and Powers on Spiritual War, posing as God, As II Thessalonians warns, too.  Even the Jews look for the savior Messiah, and even the Mormons and similar Christian Called Cults, "All that we must do to be saved is to believe in our hearts that Jesus was raised from the dead and confess with our mouths, "Jesus is Lord," Romans 10:9", but are called Wolves in Sheep's Clothing by some Christians.

This, in some Christian Churches, is claimed to be Christian Churces, for Satan comes as an imitation Jesus, using a false bow, and lying tongues to decieve the Christians, and posing as Christians.  It is, THERE, directly related to Chistians, and not rejectors of God, but those decieved wholly seduced by the false man of peace Satan, Christian and otherwise, in all his evil manifestations, like Universalist and Unification themed Christian Churches sent to decieve.  These are not Gnostic Churches, either, but Christian Churches, believing in Christ.  But the dissenting Christian Churches say that before Chtist comes, there first comes an impostor of Christ, in Moses' Mercy Seat, and warn the Christians of these scorpions that look beautiful but are dead bones inside, merely looking like Christians, and are really the Synagogue of Satan.  So to belive otherwise, would be to believe a lie, and be blinded and damned by God, following Satan posing as Jesus Himself standing on the temple, where he ought not, as an abomination of desolation to God Himself, in the end times, when Jesus is about to come again.  (Matthew 23, Mark 13, Luke 21, Daniel 9,12).  IF THESE Churches of Christ are decievers, and are not Gnostic, we have a problem, self referentially, and dire problem in that Christians, with neither eye to see nor ear to hear, blindly in ignorant faith, follow their False god to Damnation.  Thus the confusion I see here, is semantics whether God blinds and damns them because they are already judged before their time, and not for rejecting God, but following an Imposter of God.  And the confusion that the false exaulter is the same as evil, for when they say Peace Peace with the false man of peace, comes utter destruction because that man of peace and love, is empty and false, but LOOKS like Jesus, performing miracles and wonders to decieve.  So there are numerous categorical errors, here, and problems with Specifically Accused Gnostics being confused with Erroneous Christian Churches already working in the world.

And thus, RESTORING the type of Inverse Pascal Wager, that it is better, in a fallen world end times, to be with God and Christ, but be agnostic in the sense of particular Church following, for to follow the subtle decietful imposter False Churches of the Synagogue of Satan posing as Jesus, would become blinded and damned by God, in eternal destruction.  And if Pascal's Wager did work before the corrupt end times generation of the fig tree, with Israel's Planting as a nation, then Inverse Pascal's Wager works to protect the followers from the corrupt churches of God, like Catholic Infallable Inerrant Church that molests children need to be avoided, and are not Specifically Gnostic.  For when Two Churches exist, looking like Christ, one to Decieve and one to Save, extreme care must be taken in Spiritual Warfare, for the churches have become discordant and out of tune like an untuned cymbal in this world.  And the warning to not even bid evil churches well or be partaker of their evil deeds, means, this Inverse Pascal Wager, in Special God-Christian Agnostic Selection in Free Will, makes the difference between eternal damnation and eternal peace, when seeing ent times corrupted churches in disagreements, and incomplete knowledge not hearing some things of the evil churches with lost souls, lost to Impostor Transfigured Satan as a false angel of light.

And just as some Christian Churches have taught Pascal's Wager in that one looses nothing in believing Christ for the obverse is eternal damnation, we also see that in the end times with false Christs mixed in the world, who look like Christs in socialist guise of feel good deception of apolyon apostacy, THAT the Inverse Pascal Wager preserves the Christian among false Churches of Christ, in that choosing the false Christ is eternal damnation, and following the True Christ is eternal and good salvation, and so the Christian is Chased among the mixed Christian Churches, some leavened but manipulative to look true, and some true, but needing unction testing, that can fail any time by leavening entering those pure churches.  For even God has ought against some churches in Revelation, and loves perfectly Philadelphia and Smyrna, teaching who the Jews who are not Jews are, of the Synagogue of Satan.  Reverend Jim Jones' followers thought they were following Christian Spirit, but were decieved in what already worked evil in the world.  And he was not Exclusively Gnostic, either.  The Inverse Pascal Wager, may be succinctly stated ... when they say lo here is Christ, or lo Chist is there ... believe them NOT.  Are they damned for rejecting God and Christ, as you claim?  Nay, I say.  Thus: INVERSE PASCAL WAGER works in the end times, as much as Pascal's Wager worked before the end times corruption apostacy.

QUESTIONABLE GOD IN A QUESTIONABLE FALLEN WORLD IN THE END TIMES
I do find Light in the Word that God can be tested, for even if YOU have never heard of the untestable God churches, I HAVE heard of churches who believe in Christ and are not Gnostic, DO say you should not test or try God in considering God's Ways (Acts 15.10, Psalm 78.18, Deuteronomy 6.16), which I HAVE heard some Christian men twist Christ's Doctrines.  I agree implicitly, it is a Mutation of evil tempters of God being end times easily linguistically being confused with Asking that a door to Understand God's Ways to be opened.  BUT to say the agnostic perish, is to say the Millenium doesn't teach the other lost souls in infidel religions, that God's Purpose is not to save all souls (I Timothy 2.4, Romans 11.26, 2 Peter 3.9, Luke 18.27).

GOD REVEALS?
And you make comment many times, well done, that God shines his light.  But the peculiar verses of God blinding to damn, is strange, for all the verses that exist showing God blinding, where God can be questioned for all those Blinded and/or Damned by God, which many teach in intimation, as eternal damnation katakrima (II Thes 2.12, 2 Cor 3.14-16, 4.4, Rom 11.7-8, Rev 19.20-21, 20.15, Isa 66.1-4, Luke 17.22).  So God blinds and/or damns, and God reveals as you proclaim well (Luke 8.16-18, Mat 5.16, Mar 4.21-23, Mat 10.26-27, Luke 11.33-36, Luke 12.2-3).  And thus a problem, for with those who ask, it is not revealed?  I prefer the Revelation, but God also does the obverse in the 'verse.  And like Job's Jew "friends", can we Simply Judge that they did something wrong, because we see they don't see the light?  Damnation by association?  For that is weak in that the evil can prosper in this life, does that mean they were not evil?  So the simple Jewish Judgement that blinding inexorably leads to rejecting God, means we loose those who follow the false Christ when "Christians" say lo Christ is here or lo Christ is there, and we must believe them????  It is an authorship of some confusion, when God is not the author of confusion, as some say.  And testing the spirit means we must Judge the spirit of men.  For the evil ones can move people too, appearing like Christ, but are of anti-Christ.  For in the "business" of saving people, we have made it a merchandaise, to live high like Babylon of Revelation, and God's Master Plan is a convolution where He must reject some that he created himself.  A Perfection Tree of All Life, from which both good and evil fruit are borne, by the Perfect Infallable Inerrant creator of all things.  Like Shakespeare who likes a little drama in His Creation for His Pleasure ... or is it all under Satan's Leavening Influence???  Itself, a perfectly ordained plan for His Perfect Pleasure in wars, plagues, floods of lies, Babylon, death for all in this flesh, first born deaths, famines, in His Perfect Design Creation Plan?  A God of War and Peace of a Kafka like 6000 year Plan?  I HOPE NOT, but I have seen the world's and The Bible's Testimony of imperfection coming through Him, The True and Perfect One (Your (#3) doctrine).  But it is hard to tell where God begins and Satan ends, in this Perfect Ordained Creation, where Imperfection IS a part of His Complete Perfection.

In any event, does Inverse Pascal's Wager not work to protect, where one may choose the False Christ or True Christ, with God saying people will be saying in churches that Christ is here or lo Christ is there, and to not belive them, in Those/These Days?  ALL To fight the False and Anti Christian Christian God of Others who lead in intimidation, fear, and survival, versus Love and Unity under Christ.  Maybe this is now more clear, to understand Inverse Pascal's Wager.

The doctrine of Christ is mentioned in Hebrews 6:1, "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God." I interpret the author to say, not "leaving" as in leaving out or leaving off, but going forward into a deeper thing, into perfection. Thus, the first five chapters of Hebrews explain the doctrine of Christ because from the 6th chapter onward the author goes onward into a new level. The passage you mentioned in John and the one in Hebrews are the only two places in the Bible where the "Doctrine of Christ" are mentioned, that I know of.

Addressing the issue of the jot and tittle of God's Word: Jesus at once made the effort to keep it both harder and easier. He said, "Love the LORD your God with all your heart, soul and mind and love your neighbor as yourself; all the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments," Matthew 22:36-40. The Law and the Prophets were the entirety of the Word of God up to Jesus' day and the New Testament elaborates on this from the perspective of Christ's sacrificial death and His triumphant resurrection.

You may put out your best efforts to keep the jot and tittle...go for it...but it has been my experience that those who strive to keep it end up like Pharisees, always pointing the finger at someone who is failing. Sometimes these people end up hating themselves ten times more than anyone else because of their failure. Striving to keep the jot and tittle, life turns into futility and grief, full of darkness and God looking increasingly like satan, as you have already experienced. Grace (God's unmerited favor) hardly enters the picture when keeping the jot and tittle, legalism does. Legalism is a focus on obedience, fulfilling commands, etc. Legalism, like striving to keep the law, leads to death in many of its varied forms. Different kinds of death from sinners fornicating, committing adultery, murdering etc., but death nevertheless. Kind of a Scrooge like death of the judgmental miser who spreads darkness from the hopelessness in his heart. Jesus warned His Disciples, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, Mark 8:14-21, the temptation toward legalism and away from love.

Jesus said He came to give life, and that more abundantly, John 10:10...this jot and tittle stuff is not life, but death. Where is the abundant life in your dark declarations? Where is your love or the testimony of the LOVE of God? Where is His Mercy and Grace? I will lean on Jesus' gift of His righteousness in exchange for my sinfulness, count on His Grace (unmerited favor) for my salvation and seek His LOVE rather than look to fulfilling every jot and tittle. Jesus has already done this for me, this is the cause of the cross, Jesus' death to pay for sin, to fulfill the Law, to fulfill every jot and tittle and with the resurrection, to offer to all who will receive a most unbalanced exchange, my sinfulness for His Righteousness, my failure for His success. I am now IN Christ, Galatians 2:20; 4:7; Ephesians 2:5; Colossians 3:3. When God looks at me, He sees me through the veil of Jesus, my Redeemer. My heart, my devotion, my all go to Him who has redeemed my life from the pit and made me a joint heir with Him to be seated with Him in Heavenly places, Romans 8:17.  

We are to study the full counsel of God, Acts 20:27. So far, I'm not impressed with your understanding of the full counsel of God any more than you're impressed with mine. You have picked passages from books and not read the entire book. You didn't realize the Doctrine of Christ was mentioned in Hebrews or why I would bring it up, but instead pointed your finger at me in accusation. "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth," II Timothy 2:15.

May the Lord give you revelation knowledge and fill you with His Love.
